four is either 1+3 or 2+2. 6 is either 1+5 or 2+4 or 3+3. Each dice has 1/6 possibility to give the desired case. Both dices 1/36. It is equally likely
how are they equal if one has a 2/32 prob. and the other is 3/32?
first of all it is /36. You think of the individual dice not the pair. Therefore each one of the 5 pairs can occur 1 into 36 times. this is why they are equallylikely
So its equally possible to roll snake-eyes as to rolling a total of six. I must admit, that is counter intuitive.
