How do you use the magnitude and angle of a vector to find the component magnitudes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You make a right triangle, where the vector is the hypotenuse, and the angle of the vector is theta. Then it's just geometry and algebra I. Sin(theta)=opposite/hypotenuse. Cos(theta) = adjacent/hypotenuse.
