I don't get , How?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the series goes from 1 to 3...so start with n =1 + n =2 + n =3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you show me by step ,Please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n starts at 1..so it's 5(1)-2 which is 3 when n is 2 it's 5(2)-2 which is 8 and when n is 3 it's 5(3)-2....sum it up is 3 + 8 + 13 which is 24
