let tea =x,coffee=y, then: 2x+3y=0.96 ----------- 1 3x+4y=1.34 ----------2 here we find tea is for .18 pence and coffee os for .20 pence by solving this system of equation after multiplying the 1st eqaution in 3 and the 2nd in 3
