Don't limit yourself to YA but throw yourself on the field of Literature in general. If you are open you will find good books generally.

well ...if u want small books..read for Paulo Coelho
i recommend : "Al- chemist" ...very nice   /also "devil and miss prym"

u can also read books for Jeffrey Archer
e.g :  "As the crow flies"..."12 red herring".

if u want bigger books
read : "the harry potter" series  by J.K rowling

or
Dan brown's books
all are nice but needs some time to finish..and the plot is so exciting
