Nine band members reported on the money they made selling candy bars for the fund-raiser. The results in dollars were: 132, 130, 143, 147, 124, 141, 159, 147, 143. Make a stem and leaf plot of the data on your own paper, then answer each question. Part 1: Which stems only have one leaf? Part 2: How many dollar values are greater than 130? Part 3: What does the 14 stem in the graph represent?

gotta go - later

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.) the stems 12 and 15 have one leaf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay what about part 2 & 3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.) I think it would be 8 dollar values are greater than 130 because all the numbers are >130 except the one 130. 3.)the 14 represents the stem as the hundreds digit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 14 is the stem for 143,147,141...ect. so it represents the hundreds digit. hope this helps :)
