rather than the answer i rathe see how to do it im rather bad at factoring

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rather

OpenStudy (aroub):

okay!

OpenStudy (aroub):

first thing u open 2 brackets ( ) ( ) / 2x^2-11x+5 / second u put the 2 x^2 in the 2 brackets (2x ) (x ) , then u add the signs( ill give u a way how to find the signs) look in ur question ----->2x^2-11x+5 ^ ^ negative sign & positive sign as my teacher taught me always put the first sign u see in the first bracket like this---> (2x- ) and then u multiply the both signs negative times positive is negative so u put the negative sign for the second bracket (x- ) and the final step u look at ur question 2x^2-11x+5 u see what 2 number u multiply by 5 makes 11 (but in ur question is different) so 5 and 1 are the only numbers that make 5 right? so u just add 1 and 5 to the brackets like this ----> (2x-1)(x-5)
