Graph the line containing the given pair of points and find the slope. (5,1) (-4,-5) * i allready Graphed it i just don't know the slope.*

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

see the slope of a line in which we have 2 points is (y2-y1)/(x1-x2) you can get it i believe

OpenStudy (agentnao):

Yes, to find slope, you use the formula of "change in rise over change in run" or change in y values divided by change in x values. Now just plug in your numbers and simplify as needed! (:

i got -6/-9

OpenStudy (agentnao):

1- (-5)/ 5 - (-4) 6/ 9 3 Don't forget to mind your negative and positives :) and simplify!

OpenStudy (agentnao):

I see you did it the opposite way, which is fine too because it all comes down to the same thing.
