solve the following quadratic equations by factoring. set equations to "0" first tho. y^2-24y+144=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -12, 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's just 12...not -12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how you get that?:p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

factor it to (y-12)(y-12)...set each equation to 0 so y - 12 = 0....move the 12 to the other side to get y = 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there's no negatives right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no
