Which of the following is a one-to-one function? A. ƒ(x)=4x+1; x<-2 x-5; x≥-2 B. y=x^2 C. y=[[2x]] D. ƒ(x)= 2;0≤x<2 3;2≤x<4 4;4≤x<6

One to one function means that for every x value there is exactly one y value that corresponds to it. B is outta the question as for each x not equal to zero, there are 2 values of y that are mapped to. C is the answer as y = 2x is only one y for every value of x. Graph it and you will see. :) Hope this helps. If it does, please choose good answer. Visit my website at http://www.tutorsean.net for free math training videos.
