I DO NOT want the answer to this, I just want to know HOW to do it. The angle of one side of a regular polygon is 165.6 degrees. Using the measurment of the angle figure out how many sidesthe polygon has.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can help you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so we start: 180-165.5 which gives us? i will make you work for answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fine with that :) 14.5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

come one, thats simply subtraction :) its 14.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyways, now, we have the measure of exterior angles, they are 14.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, now simply divide 360( 360 is what all exterior angles add up to) by 14.4. 360/14.4=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is 25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its not 25?, its 25. Say it with some conviction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so It's 25.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good, because 25 is our answer. There are 25 sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply yeah?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thank you. :) It was simple I just didn't really know how to do it. :)
