A glass vase weighs 0.33 lb. How much does a similarly shaped vase of the same glass weigh if each dimension is 5 times as large? a. 1.65 lb b. 41.25 lb c 8.25 lb d. 206.25 lb If someone could show how they did it I would appreciate it as well.

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

well the volume would be 5^3 times as large, and assuming weight or mass is increases proportionately to volume then larger vase weighs 0.33*125 = 41.25
