Parallel = same slope, different intercept Intersecting = different slopes (intercepts don't matter, they WILL intersect if the slopes are different) :)

Intersecting is two different plots that intersect somewhere down the line. Parallel lines are two lines that have the same slope, and different intercepts. Coincidental would be your answer, because it would be a coincidence to have 2 of the same line.
