Really long threads cause major lag. (due to high cpu usage).

I'm not sure, but I think it mostly happens as you're trying to type a reply in the thread. Probably because of the preview pane again. (really wish we could disable it or just preview when we're done rather than have it do the 'live' thing).

Thank you for pointing this out polpak.  This highlights the issue of being able to toggle the "live preview of your reply" option.  It is needless as far as I'm concerned, and only serves to give strange behavior when composing long replies AND killing the CPU when replying to long threads.

Awesome, thanks for finding a specific thread that does it. We'll give it a profile and see which hotspots are causing the high CPU usage. More in a little bit.
