On the down side, nuclear reactors, which are based on nuclear chemistry, can malfunction, meltdown, and release harmful radiation to organisms around the reactor. We can harvest natural gases for energy. But what happens when you burn a lot of natural gases? Greenhouse effect? The average world temp increases? What happens if the average world temperature increases? Do we have more droughts? Just some ideas too look up. Also, look into how natural gases are harvested and you'll see that there's a lot of pollution potential.
