Hi all, I am brand new here. I am studying French at an intermediate level. What would be the best way to use this resource?

Haha ^^ Salut Kimber ! Are you asking "What's the point of learning French ?" ? I think this is like any other foreign language : you should do it for fun. Of course you could use it for international relations as we, French people, are not really proficient in foreign language. You could try a semester abroad too (France, Canada...) or simply look for a penfriend. Je ne sais pas si je réponds à ta question, mais bonne chance :)

i think it really depends on your priorities in learning french. If your goal is to learn it the academic way in order to succeed at tests, most of the time you'll need to learn the written side of the language, if so you can use the site for any help with grammar, conjugation and everything more literary oriented, if you want to learn french in order to speak french, the best way, obviously is to go in the country, but you can ask for suggestion on movies or music in french! i'd be glad to help for both

Listen to French music, read French books and magazines, watch French movies, eat French food (or cook it, following a recipe in French), chat with French people, travel to French speaking countries (in Europe, Africa, Asia, Pacific, Central America)...
