Graph the inequality on a plane. 4x + 5y <= 20
I thought I helped you with this earlier
I couldn't understand what you were trying to tell me and then I lost my connection.
Solve for y, then graph it
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=4x+%2B+5y+%3C%3D+20 see just plot the graph 4x+5y=20 then choose a point in either of the partitions that the line makes and see if 4x+5y is less than 20 or greater than 20 and the region where it is less is your answer.
hero? you are wrong the graph i gave is correct..
dumbunny you get it?
I don't know why this happens. I was just trying to give a graph in terms of y. I keep making mistakes when I do it
you made a mistake in the sign of >... nothing else
y <= (20-4x)/5
will give the same answer i gave
Yes, I know that
Anyways, as I was saying, it is appropriate to put the graph in terms of y
The graphs on that site confuse me because they are not set up the same way they are on my test. My graph has the "y" going north and south and the "x" going east and west which makes a cross. The graphs on that site are not like that and they completely confuse me.
I would explain it, but I have to wait 26 seconds.
What you see on your test are what is called the x and y axes...the actual graph is posted in reference to those. The x and y axes are plotted before any graph is plotted.
Is there any way you can put it in simple terms, like "go over to the right to this number, then up (or down) to that number. I understand what side to shade, I just can't figure out the plot. On the wolfram site it looks as though the "x" is on 7.5 but my graph will not allow me to do that. Has to be either 7 or 8.
Bunny! Stuck on something?
Yep. I thought you were gone for the night.
noo, im back!
which question is a prob?
This one for starters. LOL
I only have this on and one more to finish.
Actually there is one more that I know isn't right but I can't figure out how to fix it.
can u please post that again, this is confusing me. :(
I need you to draw it for me!!
All 3 of them are plotting questions.
