OpenStudy (amistre64):

heron's formula applies to triangles right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you take a picture and post it as a jpeg, I think more of us could help. And yes, herons does apply to triangles.

OpenStudy (angela210793):

his is very easy..since u know the formula all u have to do is add the areas of the two triangles...\[A=\sqrt{p(p-a)(p-b)(p-c)}\] whr p=P/2 and P is the perimeter of the triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

s = (5+8+6) / 2 = 9.5 for one triangle s = (5 +8+9) / 2 = 11 for other plug these in to heron's and add them together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i plug them in and were??

OpenStudy (angela210793):

in the formula tht u've written
