Silly question moment: What laptop brand would you recommend for someone? Im trying to pick but IDK!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

toshibas are good, but im sure there are much better ones out there

If you are broke, a student, and need a powerful machine for a low price, pick HP. They offer a 30% or more discount to all students buying laptops. If you want something that will never break down pick a Lenovo (IBM) laptop. If you want something high end, and price is not an issue, I would go with SONY.

Depend on your Budget. I think mac book is best , then comes sony then toshiba , then Dell,hp etc :)

Depends on your budget. Mac is great for certain things, a little lame for others, but I think the same of PCs. However, stay away from Dell. They're cheap, but you will end up paying for it in the long run.

Thanks alot guys that was helpful.. Im thinking of getting a PC :) There are just way too many options. Preferably Sony ,HP and Lenovo. I had a Dell and it committed suicide on numerous occasion that computer SUCKED!

go with lenovo they are as strong as macs with i3 i5 and i7 but half the cost they have competitors for al types and i use them for 3d rendering on autodesk software that would destroy and hp or dell processor

definitely a macbook. you can get an air or pro, but they can NEVER get a virus. if it does, they'll give you the same laptop for free in exchange for the virused one. its a lot to pay for a laptop, but you don't have to pay for virus protection!!! (:

go for dell
