Photo Necessities produces camera cases. They have found that the cost, c(x), of making x camera cases is a quadratic function in terms of x. The company also discovered that it costs $27 to produce 2 camera cases, $105 to produce 4 camera cases, and $675 to produce 10 camera cases. Find the total cost of producing 5 camera cases.
solving 3 variables in three equations is a pain; the only reason they give you this type of problem is so that you get the practice of cursing and swearing at the math till you get it right :)
curse them people! grr.. lol so you woudn't happen to know? xP
i could get an answer; but that is not the important part of all this; it is the honing of your technique that is the real prize .... but let me see if i can find something to make it easier if you need to double check your results
they give you 3 points of reference: x=, y = 2, 27 4, 105 10, 675 and ask you to find the match to x=5
this is how i work it with my program :)
oh? so does your program help solving math problems?! 0:
never mind hehe (:
5 cameras cost $165 to produce. c(x) = 7x^2 -3x +5
