The formula r=2√5L can be used, where r is the speed in miles per hour and L is the length of the skid marks in feet. Estimate the speed of a car that left skid marks: a) 30 ft long? b) 140 ft long? c) 250 ft long?

all you have to do, is plug in 30 for L " " 140 for L " " 250 for L in the formula: \[R(L)=2\sqrt{5L}\]
