because in order for half time to occur there has to be a period of time example 1 millisecond, 1 second is hour, 1 day. half life is the time it takes for a substance to go under decay, it wont make sense if u include the point as nothing will have happened

Hmmm u know like drawing circles, perpendicular bisectors,.. Half life is anther kinda drawing...a straight line...... With an angle that's reference to e real axis
