Hello :) I was just wondering what are the differences between collinear points, noncollinear points, coplanar points and noncoplanar points? Because I'm confused....

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

co planar = It means that the points are not in the same plane.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is outside of the diagram of the plane?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

this will help for sure! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it safe if it downloads??? O__o

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

lol, yea.. i didnt attached any malware in that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

malware? What is that?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

its a kind of virus.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh. Ok, I'll trust you on that and click it.

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

haha, ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. I don't get the first image that was on the far left....is that important?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

collinear points are on the same line (think of a tight string). Coplanar points are on the same plane (think table top)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

No it isnt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't important? Or are you talking to snaef999?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does it mean anything?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think it does jessica. It looks like that picture was taken from some sort of optics reference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

...?...what is "optics reference?" and um....did I deserve the medal? I don't think I did anything much...

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is your computer ok? Your picture keeps switching....

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

mine?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

i jst chnged the photo!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

probably that's why.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is another picture that might help. D and F are collinear and M and E are coplanar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\m/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here you go! xD Arigato gozaimasu!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
