the standard normal curve is a probability density curve for a continuous random variable. This means that the area underneath the entire curve is 1. what is the area of the shaded region between the two z scores (-1.21 and 0.84). helppppp meeee please

what tools do you have at your disposal for this? ztable, ti83, other?
ztable
my answer matched 0.686 thank you everyone
then lets find the area from the mean to .84; look on the left side of the ztable for 0.8 and match that with the top of .04
:) very well
just to go over the steps so I dont forget them in my old age :) add the areas you find on the ztable for: .04 . . 0.8 .............. N and .01 . . . . 1.2..... M M+N = area between -1.21 and .84, i aint got a ztable handy to check it tho :)
