I need to come up with a testable science question and a hypothesis.. Im confused! Someone help?

A hypothesis is simply a view or idea you think is correct. Scientists often begin with an idea (for example they may think water is heavier than air). They might then test their hypothesis by pouring water into a glass, thus proving their hypothesis correct (because the water falls through the air). If you have to come up with a new hypothesis, what about the idea that a water pressure jet washer emits less energy in the jet of water than it consumes. You could test this by pointing the pressure jet at a turbine connected to an alternator motor. The electricity you get from the turbine will be less than the power consumption of the pressure jet washer.
