(3 x^2-x+5)/((x-2) (x+1))
Common Denominator (x-2)(x+1) 3x(x-2)/(x-2)(x+1) + 5(x+1)/(x-2)(x+1) (3 x^2-x+5)/((x-2) (x+1))
3x(x-2) + 5x +5 -------------- (x-1)(x +2) 3x^2 -x+5 ---------- (x-1)(x+2)
