Fun Fact #4:I have another little insect to introduce to you, this one is the Graceful Sun Moth. It starts life in the bottom of a Lomandra plant where it burrows into the growing leaf and then underground where it feeds on bulb-like leaf bases. Now this little critter spends almost its entire life (1 to 3 years) in the bottom of this particular plant. When it finally reaches adulthood it finds freedom the surface for anywhere between 10 to 2 days where it mates, lays its eggs in the bottom of another Lomandra plant and dies. Any single moth does not move any more than 100meters from its home.
