Anybody want to lend a helping hand? https://courses.vlacs.org/vlacontent/algebra2_v10_gs//assessments-xml/res0057/4_09_04.gif%22 How would I go about solving this?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

So, raising something to the half power is the same as taking the square root of it. So that problem is the same as: \[\sqrt{4x - 11} = 3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

square both sides

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Is that enough to help you solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome! Thanks, Shadowfiend :] I thought so. Thanks you, too, problemsolver.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, that's enough for me.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Great! :)
