cenceptual physics The recoil momentum of a gun that kicks is (more than) (less than) (the same as) the momentum of the bullet it fires. choose 1 from the column although the speed and acceleration of the bullet are greater.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Momentum is conserved when the bullet is fired, so the momentum should be the same as the bullet it fires, but in the opposite direction.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

momentum is conserved and at a macroscopic level. Momentum is the product of mass and velocity. so the mass of the gun is high and velocity is low contrary to the bullet conserving momentum in a standard case. (As long as their is no shrapnel or random absorber).
