why do atoms release energy when they bond?? my friend says they release energy to be more stable.ok thats correct but i want a deeper reason as to why energy is released

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its because the atoms have to overcome the mutual when they form a bondrepulsions between the electrons. so they release a large amount of heat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Same reason that sound energy is released when two magnets crash together. That extra energy has to go somewhere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its bcoz whenever they collide the surfaces rubbed each other and due to friction heat energy is generated ,,another thng is that through law of conservation of energy ,energy is conserved means atoms gain energy at the time of collision so they have to loose some energy ,,

see stability can be explained if u know gravitation then u will learn potential after that u will not be asking this doubt :)
