Help, again??? Find the product of (2x + 5y)(2x − 5y).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same as before \[a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)\] with \[a=2x,b=5y\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

be a little careful and put \[(2x)^2-(5y)^2\] and then square the 2 and the 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay... I think I got it. so it's 4x^2 + 25y^2?

OpenStudy (aroub):

yes but with negative sign..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, okay! Thanks!
