Make flash cards. Not everyone learns in the same way, but flash cards work for me.

Try chatting online with either a francophone or another French speaker (either written or spoken). It's a fun and useful way to practice vocab and put it to good use!

Drawing pictures of the vocabulary words helps too, so that you aren't translating out of your native language, but looking at the object and seeing it with that word.
