f(x)=lnx. G(x)=9-x^2. Find the domain and range f(g(x))!!

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

f(g(x)) = ln(9-x^2) Domain of log is greater than 0 9-x^2 > 0 x^2 < 9 -3 < x < 3 |x| < 3 Range of log is all real numbers

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

wait, in this case 9-x^2 is max when x=0 therefore f(g(x)) has max of ln(9) Range is y<= ln(9)
