create a quadratic equation. a = 5 b = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-5)(x-6) is there another way of writing it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no that's perfect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess you can foil that out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 -11x + 30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what do you mean by a and b tho? 5x^2 +6x +24 would be one interpretation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i took it as the a term = 5 and the b term = 6

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ax^2 + bx + c or (x-a) (x-b)
