well ... in order to take up a tutoring position at the college i need to have at least one semester behind me so that the staff can attest to my mathematical prowess. bummer dude!!
guess im gonna have to wait till spring :/
sorry to hear that
Happens happens....
yep, another 4 months of scrapping by to eke out a living ...
You like the "Scrapping"??? Or you hate it? And if you know the stuff why are telling you to do it?
i get tired of the scrapping .... sooo tired of it
if i had known i was going to live this long, id have planned better :)
don't worry.. Its just 4 months:) then you will Be fine'!!
yay!! :)
and amistre!!! satellite is ahead of you! aaay ahead! do something man!! we want a tough fight
*waay
lol .... satellite has always been ahead of me :) hes smarter than me and has been answering alot more questions. lately i have been rather bored with answering the same old algebra questions over and over and over ....
don't give up man!!!! answer the algebra questions too! whats wrong in them?
ive been trying to lean away from spilling out the answers, which the same person just asks for again in the next posting; and trying to get them to participate more in the "openstudy" process. No matter how thorough your replies are, if you end up with a given answer they tend to ignore the process that gets to it ...
yes i agree a nice point indeed amistre :) and they just want to solve their homework and do not care of the method by which we solve...
i care i want to know how to find overhead expenses given direct cost and gross profit and net profit% , and i want it to make sense to me
id like it to make sense too :) but as is I cant make any sense of it ...
satellite (like amistre i suspect) will slow way down once gainfully employed
if not, i will have to join a twelve step program
indubidably ;)
good luck btw. you should consider teaching as well as tutoring.
if for no other reason than it pays better.
my end goal is to be a college math teacher :)
you will be great at it.
community colleges are nice, actual university is good too but very very competitive i hear
and while i appreciate the "smarter than me" compliment i assure you it is not true. i may have some more teaching experience, but certainly no more smarts
