4. a2 + 12ab + 27b2 5. 2a2 + 30a + 100 im really stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For 4.) You have to look for two numbers that when multiplied will give you 27 and when added together will yield 12 which is 3 and 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

( a + 3b)(a + 9b)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For 5.) it makes it easier when you factor out a 2 from the expression

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2(a2 + 15a + 50) So which two numbers when multiplied give you 50 and when added give you 15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 and 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly so you have as a result: 2(a + 5)(a + 10)
