10am-14na-15bm+21bn-5mc+7cn how...?
5m(2a-3b-c)-7n(-c-3b+2a)=(2a-3b-c)(5m-7n)
If that doesn't make sense, I can explain
i have mutiple choice anwsers and thats not one of them?
What are they?
1) (5m-7n)(2a-3b-c)
What the....That is it
2) (7m-5n)(2a-3b-c)
Wait
That's exactly what I have for number one
3)(7m-5n)(3a-2b-2c)
It's just in a different order. Don't you see?
it doesnt matter what oder its in?
If you look after the equal sign...in the problem I posted, the answer is the same as number 1 NO, it doesn't it's two numbers being multiplied by each other 9 x 8 is the same as 8 x 9 because they both equal 72, right? So (2a-3b-c)(5m-7n) is the same as (5m-7n)(2a-3b-c)
The parentheses indicate multiplication
The rule for multiplication is a x b = b x a associative property, remember?
hum i see what you are saying and that makes sense. its been a while sense i have done algebra
The answer is definitely the first option
alrite well thank you for your help
