it would be cool if u earn point and with points you can reedem points like new avatars or some other things

You already can and do earn points when people give you medals for an answer (by clicking `good answer'). These let you level up, and as your ranks evolve, your avatar gets various decorations. You can go to the math group (at http://openstudy.com/groups/mathematics ) to see a great variety of these levels in action.
