WHAT IS THE NUMBER THAT PRECEEDS 100 BASE 12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in base 12 ?

BB?

I'll repeat the answer. The "numerals" in base 12 are 0...10,11 decimal but of course you can not use 10 (because that means 12 in base 12) nor 11. So people use A for 10 and B for 11. So the number before 100 (base 12) is BB base 12. Just like the number before 100 base 10 is 99 base 10

nvm ... phi explained it. :)
