what is diff between uniform motion and uniform velocity????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uniform motion means constant motion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uniform velocity is a type of uniform motion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

though in physics terms i think it is only applied to velocity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uniform velocity means uniform speed and direction (linear). uniform motion means uniform speed, but not necessarily uniform direction.

examples: uniform speed: 35mph moving around a circle uniform velocity: 35mph moving in a straight line.
