how do you simplify (x-1)(X^3+2x^2+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should first multiply everything in the polynomial by x and then by -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be like (x^4+2x^3+2x)(-x^3-2x^2-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea just take out the brackets and combine like terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x^4+1x^3-2x^2+2x-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks good to me, Great job!

Thanx!!!
