find the slope intercept form of the equation of the line that passes through the point (-4,-7) and is perpendicular to the line -6x+4y=-4

start from the point (-4,-7) and plot the slope... solve for y and get y=6x/4-1 if you know its perpendicular to a slope of 6/4 then you know that its slope is -4/6. plot to get the y intercept which is -13 so the equation is y=-4x/6-13
