I have a square picture and length (top) says n+4 and length (right side) says n.

if top says n+4 and right says n then you have a rectangle not a square. Not trying to be mean making sure you typed everything correctly.

^ Assuming that it is a rectangle and there is no mistake:

Area= length*width

A= (n+4)*(n)

A= n^2 + 4n


Perimeter= 2*length + 2*width

P= 2*(n+4) + 2*(n)

P= 2n+8+2n

P= 4n+8
