find the domain: p(x)=2x-9

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Since you can plug in any real number, the domain is the set of all real numbers. So the domain in interval notation is \[\large (-\infty,\infty)\]

All real numbers.

That's a Linear Equation (you can tell this because "x" is considered to be in the power of 1), and in any case with a linear equation the Domain (which basically is where X has any value), is always all real numbers.
