12x^2+13w-35=
12x^2+13w-35 is already simplified, there are no like terms, unless you are trying to identify the coordinates
Assuming it's 12w^2+13w-35 12w^2+13w-35 12w^2-15w+28w-35 3w(4w-5)+7(4w-5) (3w+7)(4w-5) So 12w^2+13w-35 = (3w+7)(4w-5)
Where did you get 15w from in the third line?
I multiplied 12 and -35 and got -420 Then I looked for two numbers that multiplied to -420 and added to 13. Those two numbers are -15 and 28 Then I used those two numbers to break up 13w into -15w+28w
Ok, your on the right track, so I'm assuming you want to identify the x coordinates, here is what I would do... 12w^2 +13w-35 w^2+13w-420 (w+28) and (w-15)... which is what you had said previously. Then you must solve for zero on each of your answers, leaving you with x=-28,x=15 :D
