What is the slope of the line for the equation x = 3?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

x = 3 looks like your stacking a bunch of oreo cookies one on top of the other ... therefore it has no slope that can be defined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i agree undefined slope!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now there is an image i will not soon forget

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhndefined-and now i rlly want oreos...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@summerlynnette a slope tells you the steepness of the line. how many units up or down it travels in the y - direction for each unit in the x - direction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since the line x = 3 is fixed at 3, x does not travel one unit to the right, so the question makes no sense, hence undefined
