In the diagram Q is the midpoint of segment PR. Show that PQ and QR are each equal to 1/2PR. Given-> Q is the midpoint of segment PR Prove->PQ=1/2PR and QR=1/2PR

Hahd can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh.......... maybe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, Canada let's see what you've got (Beast mode) >___<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just hunch here but co-ordinate Qx= (Px+Rx)/2 Qy= (Py+Ry)/2 which is the same as mpx=(x1+x2)/2 mpy=(y1+y2)/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now distance from P to R is PR correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in distance formula we can plug in co-ordinates equal to Qx and Qy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we will get half of distance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahd, your 16?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no school right now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
