OpenStudy (waheguru):

for the cylinder i got sa= 2712.9 and v= 10851.84 nd for sphere i got sa= 1808.64 and v= 7234.56 am i right?

OpenStudy (waheguru):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cylinder SA is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume is off just a little bit from what I got. Probably used different values of Pi.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sa = 2 *pi*radius* height.... right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No... It's 2(Pi*r^2) + 2Pi*r*height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats total surface area! .. oh well..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that not what they asked for? "Calculate the surface area"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But anyhow, your volume surface area and volume are also correct, wahe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea.. correct.. i always consider lateral surface area.. my bad :/
