can someone state Lenz`s law of electromagnetic induction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An induced current flows so that it opposes the motion creating it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lenz's law states that the induced emf in a circuit will always oppose the motion that caused it.

BTW the below is a very cool demo of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxC-AEC0ROk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lenz's law states that the induced current in the loop is such that the induced magnetic field opposes the change in the flux.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lenz's law adds the sense of conservation of energy to faraday's law of electromagnetic induction by stating that the induced current flows in such a way that it always opposes the cause of change of flux linked with the body

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lenz's law states that for a current induced in a conductor by a changing magnetic field, the current is in such a direction that its own magnetic field oppose the change that produced it......
