How do you graph an equation in point slope form?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

well you start with the given point and then use the slope to plot more points along the line Ex: y-2 = 3(x+1) slope is 3 point is (-1,2) start at (-1,2) then go up 3 over 1, ending up at (2,3) connect the points and there is your line

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

oops correction, 2nd point would be (0,5)
